ECT International offers a variety of training classes for promis•e
users.
A new training option is live online training. If you have an Internet connection and a
telephone, you can log in to an online training session, hear and see what the instructor is doing, ask
questions and work along on your own computer.
How it works
Contact ECT to register your interest in an online training course, either call +61 3 5229 2922 or email sales@ecti.com.au
At the appointed time and date, go to the class website and log in. Call the supplied phone number to hear the instructor.
During the instructor’s presentation you will be able to see what he or she is doing on your screen.
For lab sessions, you will be connected to a computer running promis•e at ECT’s facility; there’s no
installation or configuration required on your end. The instructor will monitor your work and
respond to questions.
Note: Even with the best available Internet technology, students should realize that web-based training
will have a slight performance degradation compared to working on a local PC. Students will experience a
slight delay in mouse-cursor movements.

Requirements:
A Pentium class computer with broadband Internet connection and minimum 1024x768 display. Note: expect a slight lag between action and result when running the software remotely. A telephone with speakerphone or headset.
